When it comes to the metalwork that the jeweler actually puts into each and every jewelry piece — I was clueless!  While there are some terms that I know, Filigree was not one of them.  This is actually a delicate metalwork that jewelers do on everything from nails all the way up to earrings and necklaces.  Personally, I think that filigree jewelry is breathtakingly beautiful.  Not only is there a light and airy feel to it, but it’s so elegant and so precise.  What do you guys think?  Love or hate?
