Whenever I buy a piece of jewelry, I want it to be something unique and different. I want the piece that I buy to be something that I can’t really find anywhere else. That’s how I feel about this beautiful ring. I think that the detail on the side, the detail on the top and even the little branch sticking out of it is beautiful! One of the biggest trends that I’ve seen lately is the knot trend. Whether you are looking for a knotted up piece of fabric to wear as a necklace or you are looking for twisted and turned metal, the knot trend is growing. Rings are totally my obsession. Not only do I really, really love the way that they compliment all kinds of outfits, but I love the fact that you can mix and match what rings you wear with what. I constantly have three or four rings on my fingers — and I think it’ll always be that way!
One of the best rings that I’ve found as of late is cuff rings. I think that they are totally awesome, some of the best feeling on my fingers and they are super stylish! Whether I am wearing a cute sweater set or I am looking to rock out my LBD, cuff rings are totally my passion!
The thing about cuff rings is that they truly can be mixed and matched with anything. Whether you are looking for a plain silver cuff ring or you want to glitz and glam it up, there is something out there for everyone!

Alice in Wonderland is totally one of my favorite movies of all time! While I might have done a post about Alice in Wonderland jewelry already, this is different! H. Stern is one of the few designers out there that understands the whimsical nature of Alice, understands how beautiful and visual the movie truly is. That is what these rings are all about. They are visually stunning and by far, some of the most beautiful pieces that I have ever seen!
Take these two rings for example — I can just see Alice in Wonderland written all over them! I love the green double-ring for it’s whimsical nature. The mushroom ring would make a fantastic statement ring and can go with any outfit at all!
The Jabberwoky is truly one of my favorite characters and the poem that was incorporated into Tim Burton’s movie? Classic! This ring is awesome. I absolutely dub H. Sterns incredible for capturing the heart and soul of the Jabberwoky in this awesome ring!

I have always found the Victorian era filled with beautiful gems, jewels, necklaces and bracelets. I seriously love every single piece of jewelry from the Victorian age, but did you know that there are a few pieces that you can incorporate into your every day life? Just because we live in a new age, doesn’t mean we can’t take advantage to some of the older gems and jewels. Personally, I love adding in a sparkle or shimmer of something a little older to outfits, it really pulls together all of my outfits and makes them unique and different.

Yellow diamonds are something that I never really thought about until the subject came up in the office. One of the girls was talking about how beautiful yellow diamonds are and how she’d love one for her engagement ring. Yellow diamonds to me, look a little odd. They range from bright yellow like the above diamond all the way to pastel yellow, which seems to be a little too light for me. I’m a huge fan of black diamonds, but that’s for another post!
While I might not be a huge fan of yellow diamonds, the celebrities go crazy for them! Jo-Lo is one of those celebrities that absolutely loves her yellow diamonds — I think that it looks great with her skin tone though. What do you ladies think?

I love a good designer watch. Seriously ladies, I’m not dissin’ on the designers, however, the antique watches from back in the day? They were beautiful. Not only did they have their own style, but they were truly a work of art! Even if the watch interface doesn’t work, you can actually wear the watch as a bracelet and get away with it!
My grandmother was the queen of antique watches! She had so many, I have a hard time counting them. One thing that I noticed about these watches is how delicate they are. They take forever to make, are truly a breathtaking piece and can pull any outfit at all together.

Pinky rings are something that we often overlook. Ladies, our pinkies need some love too! Pinky rings are actually the newest addition to the jewelry family and I think that we should embrace them! Whether you are looking for diamond encrusted pinky rings or you are looking for something simple and sweet, it’s a great way to show off your gems and jewels.
For me, I always pick something with a little sparkle. I want my pinkies to gleam and glitter. One of my favorite pinky rings that I wear all of the time actually had a diamond knot in it. You could also add in a ribbon, maybe a bow – really dress your pinky up!

First, second, this season of Project Runway — I absolutely loved it. I thought that it was the best show in the world. Nowadays? I haven’t kept with the times, but this new spin-off show? I’m not sure. I watched the first episode that premiered earlier today, but I wasn’t as impressed as I thought that I would be. The accessory challenge was to find trash and to make it into accessories — but they weren’t up to par. I miss my Tim Gunn, my Heidi Klum and my Michael Kors. What do you guys think though? I love the free nature of the turquoise stones, the way that they can be weaved into anything from kick butt bracelets all the way to necklaces that are runway quality. By far, one of my favorite metals is silver. I just love the quality, love that it goes with any color and it truly does make some pieces really stand out. I actually have three different pieces that we’re going to take a look at and I promise, you’ll love them! The first one is above, it’s Chanel (my fav!) and I have to say, I love it. It’s a charm bracelet that is a little upscale and high class.
While I love all designers — I also love the vintage feel of this piece. I like that it has two different charms, that the bow has a little antiquing on it — it’s chic and stylish at the same time! I’d totally wear this piece every day if I owned it.
I think that I totally have a thing for bows. This vintage little silver bow is beautiful! I love the sparkles, the gemstones, the beauty of the entire piece! This one is definitely my favorite and I think that if I owned it, it’d be around my neck all the time!

I have a ton of jewelry; let’s get that right out in the open. Because I have so much jewelry, it’s really hard for me to pick out the right gemstones and jewels that go with the right occasion. Well ladies, because of my mishaps, you now have an expert! There are so many different gems and jewels out there, it can be a really daunting task to figure out what goes with where and which outfit. Rest your worries, I got your back.
If you are really looking to make a splash, rubies are definitely the answer! Rubies (even if you get a fake rock, as long as it looks somewhat real) are incredible for a night out with friends, a night out with the girls or even a date night. The red color screams for attention and the right piece can be breathtaking all the time!
The next thing that we are going to talk about is pearls. Did you see my last post about pearls? They are making their way back and I love them. They are very old Hollywood and look amazing on any girl. They are perfect for the office, date night or even a night with your parents.

Bronze isn’t a metal that I typically think about whenever I think about jewelry. When I was looking up pieces for this particular blog post though, I occurred to me that bronze is actually beautiful. It’s very vintage, has a very regal and older look. I personally love the piece above and the rings below — they blew me away when I saw them. While I don’t own anything that bronze right now, I think my next big jewelry purchase is going to be mostly bronze. It’s such a versatile metal, you really can make anything look chic and fashionable that you mix with bronze.
It’s not so much about what the metal holds, but the metal itself. Bronze has such a unique and different feel to it, such an awesome finish and if made right — it can look pretty beautiful. What do you ladies think?

I am your expert guide to everything good this fall. Autumn is definitely the time to tuck away the delicate and move onto the big and bold! Statement necklaces, rings and even bracelets are all making their appearances on the runway and should be in your accessories drawer as well! I love huge beads, big necklaces and just making a statement with my jewelry.

In this day and age, with all of the different jewelry trends, there are some that are just my style. Fashionable cocktail rings for example, they are just not my cup of tea! I would have to say by far, my favorite movie movies of all time is Alice of Wonderland. Not only is it one of the very best movies of all time, but the jewelry is absolutely beautiful! You can constantly hang out, constantly sleep over one another’s houses and always involve each other in plans — or you can pick up some awesome jewelry pieces! I absolutely love any and all BFF necklaces! I think that they are a unique and different way for you to show your BFF that you love and adore them.

Bib necklaces are something that three years ago, I never would have thought about wearing. They are the perfect addition to any sophisticated outfit all the way to a night out on the town. This necklace in particular is one of my favorite. Not only does it take raw stones (stones that have not been polished and shined to a perfectly round, square or triangle shape) and place it in a beautiful holder, but I love the chains that are around them. This is a great example of what type of bib necklaces are out there and why this particular trend is raging right now! So go on ladies, what types of bib necklaces do you like? When a celebrity releases their own line of jewelry, typically I am the first one that says it is going to suck. What do a lot of celebrities know about jewelry and the ins and outs of it? Yeah sure, they partner up with a celebrity jewelry companies, but still, I am always a little skeptical. Angelina’s though? I think it is so classy and so beautiful. It’s definitely all her and even though she started the line for charity (of course!), I think that she should keep it up! This necklace alone is worth it. It’s flawlessly beautiful, would look great on any neck at all and would bring out any outfit you pair with it! Angelina — you got my vote for best jewelry line of 2011!

Rihanna is one of the few female artists out there that I absolutely love everything about. Her appearance is constantly polished and she is always so tasteful and has the best style in everything from her gems and jewels to her outfits! Take the above photo — I would have never thought to actually wear a Tiffany scarf as a necklace to a Red Carpet event. This is just one example of how Rihanna thinks outside of the box and really makes herself so appealing to everyone and anyone! I love how she can go from dashingly dangle earrings to a scarf that is so sparkly and breathtaking it makes an entire outfit. She’s awesome y’all!

Did I mention that I love Glee? Lea Michele is one of my favorite characters, but on the girl’s side (I’m personally a Kurt fan … I’d marry the kid if I could!), I absolutely love Quinn. She’s beautiful, breathtaking and has a ton of personality to her! Not only is her style awesome, posh, chic and sophisticated all of the time, but she has evolved! Take a look at what she might have worn back in January. All gemstones, diamonds and silver. While it’s all beautiful, she has changed since then and now, she is a little bit of a rebel! The picture below proves that little Quinn (and Dianna herself) have changed from a sophisticated woman to someone who is evolving into their own person. I personally love her new shorter haircut — and the jewelry on the picture below? To die for!!

Hilary Duff is one of those fresh-faced, innocent actresses that I will never forget. Oh yeah, I watched her in all of Lizzie’s adventures and even saw the movies — but hasn’t she grown up beautiful? I always loved her chic yet still classic and classy style. Do y’all watch Modern Family? Yanno, the show that won a million different Emmy’s? I used to, the first season, but I need to catch up on it. One of the actresses that is making all kinds of waves nowadays is Sofia Vergara. This little perky chick is not only super famous, but she has come out with her own clothing line and is the front runner on tons of different commercials nowadays! Another thing that our darling little Sofia Vergara is known for is her style. She has some impeccable taste when it comes to clothes, hairstyles and jewelry. Glee is a show that I love. Seriously guys, it’s one of the best shows out there! Not only do I love all of the styles, but the stars are friggin’ incredible! Take Lea Michele for instance. She was picked right off of the Broadway stage and placed into Glee and now she is a superstar! Her style though, it is so classic it is unmatched. I love watching her at all of the Red Carpet events and I always try to guess what she is going to wear. This little pale pink piece though, I love it! The full-length gown is awesome but it’s the jewelry that brought it all together. I love the cocktail ring on her index finger. It’s a splash of blue and honestly, it’s the piece that makes Lea Michele the best! What do you guys like? Love it? Hate it?
